wordpress.redirectingat.comToday is Grandparents Day. It’s a real holiday, did you know? There’s a lot of celebrate about grandparents, to be sure, so we’ve collected up some great posts from our blog archives, posts that remember and celebrate Nana, Grandma, PopPop, Grandpa, Mimi and all those other special people who fit that definition of grandparent. Google “influence of grandparents” and you’ll find all kinds of references to the important bond between children and grandchildren. Lists like “10 things grandchildren can learn from their grandparents” abound. In the blogs below you’ll find many references to the important role a grandparent can have in the faith development of a child.

  • Grandparents raising grandchildren
  • The gift of faith and fashion
  • Sophia and Violet
  • My great-grandfather’s pulpit
  • We are soul sisters
  • Of God and Grandma
  • What is there about soap?

Did one or more of your grandparents help shape your faith life?

"We do not #lament for lament’s sake but to heal so that we can move into action," writes today's blogger. When we #heal, we gain #compassion to help others through #prayer, #volunteering, and #advocacy, she says. ow.ly/tzc150ErVWK pic.twitter.com/zn67ZLqPr2
