Epiphany: Unfolding the discovery

On January 6 Christians celebrate the festival of Epiphany, recognizing the revelation of Christ to all nations as represented by the magi who come to worship the baby Jesus. As Bishop Ann Svennungsen wrote in the January 2013 issue of InterActs, the newsletter of the Minneapolis Area Synod, ELCA, “The journey of the magi reminds us of the journey of discipleship–often mysterious, often begun with nothing more than a hunch of what God is up to, often fraught with uncertainty–sometimes even danger or persecution.” Use our resource, Epiphany: Unfolding the Discovery, to explore the many epiphanies that happen in our lives and how we understand the world, ourselves and others.

Epiphany: Unfolding the Discovery, available in English and Spanish, can be used individually for reflection or journaling or in a group.

While every person's grief experience is unique, what unites us is a need to express our emotions. Today's blogger tells us how using art as an outlet helps us pour out those feelings. #grief #creativity ow.ly/SwOe50Dhi8N pic.twitter.com/x0sWHypyZf
