From birth through ascension, Jesus blessed people, which means Jesus noticed people. Jesus noticed the most vulnerable. He noticed the overlooked all the way to the cross.
What would it take for you to notice the people who are living right next door? To bless them? To love them? I suspect it will cost you everything. But along the way, you will find your life. The cost means you will be heavily involved with humans, and humans are a beautiful mess. Once you start noticing and blessing people, it’s really hard to stop. You will continue to notice people all around you, the ones especially that the world has trouble seeing, and bless them. And you will find the people who remind you that you are blessed.
