Over the past year I’ve seen Jesus’ love at work in my life as I struggle with severe fibromyalgia and a work-related back injury. Jesus’ love comes in the form of four-legged animals.
In March 2017 my friends started a new chapter of their life, relocating to a new home in Arizona. Their new homeowners association had a rule that permitted only two each of any domestic animal. They owned four dogs. I had been their regular onsite pet sitter. After prayerful consideration, I offered to adopt the two small dogs that needed to find a home.
They are the joy of my life [and show] me unconditional love. Jesus uses my dogs to get me out of bed [and] to show me I am never alone and always loved. Jesus’ love comes with waggling tails and lots of licks.
