Perhaps you can remember times when the very words of God came to you through another person, when someone’s act of kindness or courage was just the strength you needed, when some seemingly coincidental connection was an answer to your prayers–when someone was like Christ to you.
Since God is using other people to bring Christ’s love to you, don’t be surprised when God uses you to do the same for others. You may not recognize God at work through you, but that doesn’t stop it from happening. We can help each other recognize God’s work in and through us by letting others know when they have been like Christ to us. A simple note, a quick email, a phone call can help someone else see Christ in herself.
