Thirteenth Triennial Convention

The Thirteenth Triennial Convention will be held virtually July 13-14, 2026

The triennial convention is the highest legislative authority in Women of the ELCA. Voting members, elected in the 64 synodical women’s organizations, will conduct the business of the organization, elect leaders for the 2026-2029 triennium, act on memorials from synodical organizations and resolutions from the floor and approve a budget and much more.

Nominations open October 20, 2025

Nominations

Voting members of the Thirteenth Triennial Convention will elect officers and women to serve on the churchwide executive board for the remainder of 2026-2029 triennium. The president and vice president are elected at the convention by nominating ballot, and no advance nominations are needed for these two positions. Nominations for secretary, treasurer, and board members will be received between October 20 and February 20, 2026.
