From the moment God made Adam and Eve for the pure joy of it and gave them to each other, community has been God’s design for human life. Our lives are enriched by the many communities of experience, history, interest and purpose to which we belong. These communities help us enjoy life, contribute to the well-being of others, learn new things and perhaps even live longer. Let’s celebrate them.
But even more, let’s celebrate the diverse koinonia (fellowship, community) of Christian community, where God’s grace is the only thing that matters.
