This year, Women of the ELCA celebrates 30 years of mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.
One way you can celebrate with us is by joining more than 2,000 women at the Tenth Triennial Gathering in Minneapolis, Minnesota, July 13-16, 2017. This will be a time to connect with old friends and meet new ones.
Another reason to celebrate with us this summer is because the Tenth Triennial Gathering falls during the observance of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Our theme, All Anew, resonates with reformation and transformation.
You will be able to worship together, engage in Bible study, hear inspiring speakers, attend workshops, give back to the local community through in-kind gifts, support our health initiative–Raising Up Healthy Women and Girls–with a Run, Walk and Roll on early Saturday morning. And more.

Many women who attend the gathering go back to their congregations and communities inspired by what they have learned. You can stay connected to the organization through our programs and resources as we develop a new way of being All Anew.
Other ways to stay connected
Are you looking for a new way to meet together? Many women in our community share and engage with each other through Bible studies in Gather magazine. They also use Café, an award-winning electronic magazine for young adult women interested in how faith relates to issues they face today.
Need a daily devotion, reflection, prayers and more? Sign up for Daily Grace. For our latest news, sign up for our free monthly e-newsletter Bold Connections.
These are only a few ways to stay connected to a community of women that lives out its purpose with passion.
You can be a part of our women’s ministry and included in more than 7,000 congregational units that call themselves Women of the ELCA. Plan to join us in Minneapolis this summer to find out what we’re about.
Eva James Yeo is director for membership for Women of the ELCA. If you’re interested in learning more about the organization, email her at [email protected].
