Traveling back from vacation recently, I noticed on the side of the road a cluster of red, orange, and yellow leaves on several trees. This is not what I expected. The colors stood out vividly among the green leaves on the trees. For a moment my mind drifted into September and the excitement of a new season.
In several weeks, Women of the ELCA will begin a new Bible study, In Good Company: Stories of Biblical Women in Gather, now available in a digital format and can be view on your iPad, Android, or Kindle Fire. There are program ideas to explore from our online resources. This fall we’ll be giving in gratitude through Thankofferings and supporting the organization through Katie’s Fund. In September registration will open for the Triennial Gathering 2014!
Throughout the fall, there’ll be synodical conventions, membership opportunities through congregational units, connecting with young adult women through Café hot topics, and inviting a friend for coffee as you share a copy of A Place for You. There’s so much more to learn and share in community. Are you ready to explore all that Women of the ELCA has to offer? Are you prepared to help Women of the ELCA grow by sharing, supporting, and promoting the organization?
