I pride myself in being organized. It’s second nature to me now. When it comes to my work, there is no way around it. Planning is key! There is a quote that I have heard and used many times, “Failing to plan is planning to fail!” But what happens when you do plan and do everything else possible to stay on schedule, and yet you cannot seem to make things work?
You go to plan B! That’s what happens. It’s not always easy for me to do, especially when I have my mind set on things going one way (the way I originally planned it to go). Things happen; life happens, and one must not only be able to accept that things may not go as planned (that’s the real hard part for me), but also be at peace with Plan B. One must know full well that although the outcome is different than anticipated, it doesn’t make it wrong, and it definitely does not equal failure.
You may have a set plan for yourself and how you anticipate your life to play out. Just when you think you can’t make things work or feel like you have failed, remember, God may have a plan B for you!
How do you deal with your plans taking a different turn? What’s your plan B?
