Be the SALT of the earth

The SALT Appeal is important to me because I want Women of the ELCA to be here for my granddaughters. With WELCA, I have grown in my faith. I am called to support women of all ages. I recall the hymn we sang together when I attended worship with my granddaughters and son. Go, Make Disciples. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit among us that day. There was an energy, an empowerment for all of us to go forward. I want to share that energy, that goodness and all the blessings I have had.
“Go, be the salt of the earth.  Go, be the light of the world.  Go, be a city on the hill, so all can see that you’re serving me.  Go, make disciples.”
When I look at the WELCA purpose statement and Our Mission, I feel this hymn captures our purpose and why I support the SALT Appeal. I am empowered and called by the Holy Spirit to share my love and gifts with all women. Acting boldly in my faith, I now invite you: Please add SALT to your offering today and help secure the future of WELCA for generations to come. Join me—share your abundance and gratitude as Women of the ELCA disciples.
I SALTed my personal offering to WELCA. What WELCA gift, city on the hill, do you want all women to see?  Be extra SALTy this year when you Share your Abundance and Love for WELCA in your Thankoffering!
Go, be the SALT of the earth.
