Welcome Gather magazine’s new managing editor
Many exciting changes are taking place at Gather magazine. In addition to updating its new Bible study format, it welcomes a new managing editor, Elizabeth (Liz) Hunter.
Liz is no stranger to Women of the ELCA, having attended every triennial gathering since 1999 and worked with staff on other projects over the years. Liz has been an editor of The Lutheran since 1999 as well as The Little Lutheran and The Little Christian (since 2007). She was editor of Seeds for the Parish from 1996-1999. Liz is a graduate of William & Mary and has done graduate work at Northeastern Illinois University and at LSTC. A Chicago native, Liz is married and has two sons. She assumes the position formerly held by Terri Lackey, the new director for communication, who served as managing editor since 2004.
