Beyond offering prayers, you can offer financial support to those impacted by Super Typhoon Haiyan.Your donation to Lutheran Disaster Response, designated for “Pacific Typhoon,” will be used entirely (100 percent) to help families whose lives and livelihoods have been impacted by this disaster.

The ELCA, through LDR, has committed $1 million to Lutheran World Relief for disaster relief in the Philippines. LWR is shipping personal care kits, baby care kits, school kits and quilts, all of which will be distributed to more than 26,000 families. You can help replenish LWR’s stock of kits and quilts so LWR is ready for future needs.
