While in Charlotte, stop by the 7th Street Public Market. Enjoy a meal (try a southern specialty, pimento cheese) or just do some shopping. Here you’ll find local produce, great coffee, handmade soaps, sweets, a salt shop and more. The Market promotes local and regional famers, food artisans and entrepreneurs.
Take the LYNX Blue Line light rail over to the 7th Street stop or rent a bike from the Charlotte B-cycle sharing system (there’s a station right outside the Charlotte Convention Center) and bike on over to the 7th Street Public Market.
The Market is just down the street from the Levine Museum of the New South, so combine a visit to the museum and market. Bike, walk or train it on over, and you won’t be disappointed!
