Applications for grants, scholarships now being received
As Women of the ELCA celebrates 25 years of ministry, applications for two annual funding programs open on December 15. The grants program focuses funding toward projects and agencies dedicated to education and advocacy, empowering women and girls to lead healthier lives. The scholarship program assists Lutheran women in furthering their educations, with scholarships offered in four categories.
In its grants program Women of the ELCA seeks proposals from not-for-profit organizations, both domestic and international, that support healing and wholeness for women of all ages through the affirmation and advancement of women’s emotional, physical, and spiritual health. All proposals must be submitted on or before February 15, 2013.
In its scholarships program Women of the ELCA offers aid to lay women, to women administrators, to women preparing for ordained ministry in their final year at an ELCA seminary and to women administrators and faculty at ELCA colleges and seminaries. All applications must be submitted in their entirety on or before February 15, 2013.
