Just before heading to New Orleans last month, the staff unveiled a new design for Café, Women of the ELCA’s on-line magazine for young adult women. The monthly publication features the same sections that readers have come to know since Café’s beginning in 2003. Every month a main article and theological reflection with discussion questions, written mostly by women in their 20s and 30s, is posted. The e-zine deals with topics about relationships, vocation and other subjects that are relevant to young adult women of faith.
Café is made possible through regular offerings from women who are active in over 7,000 congregational units of Women of the ELCA. The new look allows for readers, plus those who also give through their unit, an opportunity to support financially this resource that benefits the whole church. Café groups—groups of young adult women who may be connected to their active Women of the ELCA unit—are also highlighted.
