Galatians reminds us that, “In Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith” (3:26). Resting securely in the knowledge that each of us matters and is wholly complete in herself, we can face the loneliness that sometimes comes from, say, not having a romantic partner or a best friend.
We are not unlovable, inadequate, or scary, as we sometimes fear. We are precious in God’s eyes and are accompanied by God’s presence on every step of our journey.
