We’ve seen some amazing astronomical events recently, haven’t we? Our office happened to be closed on the day of the solar eclipse last August.
My favorite weather forecaster was broadcasting from the path of eclipse totality. He was so moved by the sight, so moved by this astronomical marvel that he burst into tears right there on camera.
I think any of us who’ve been moved to tears by a marvel can understand. When we’re so moved we can only weep–whether we’re set off by art or nature or faith–that’s the touch of the Holy Spirit.
