The ways in which many younger people find church to be inaccessible run much deeper than the aesthetics of particular liturgies. This can’t be solved just by changing a tune. The true distance much deeper, and in part, this is because millennials come from a unique experience: We are struggling, feel increasingly isolated, and our needs are no longer being met within the traditional institution.
