The evening news once featured a story about the wind being able to bring dust from Africa to Colorado. No country or people can isolate themselves as easily as they might think. Acting, or not acting, on God’s behalf works much the same way.
When we do something hateful, hurtful and cruel to someone else, that act, or the spirit of it, spreads from the victim to someone else–and it ripples outwards like the waves made by a stone thrown in a pond.
When we practice kindness, concern and graciousness, the same is true. It spreads to others. Each act is just a small thin,g but those acts can either further God’s will or help to defeat it.
