How did a nice Italian Catholic girl like me end up a Lutheran pastor who was taking on a mayor, the city and ultimately arguing that First Amendment law had been violated? I and three others were suing over a ban on outdoor public sharing of food with people living on the street. As a clergy person, and especially a woman, wasn’t I supposed to be nice?
