Being grateful creates memories. Taking time to be thankful gives us a chance to take in the present circumstances. Pausing to reflect gives our brains time and energy to imprint memories.
Storing those memories matters. Great times are had between families and friends as we rehash time on the farm, Saturday morning grocery shopping, or trips and vacations. Each time we pause in thanksgiving, even during the most mundane activities, we shape memories. Moments of gratitude create the memories that will warm our future conversations and reminiscences.
