Love of Christ

7.13.2016
|
Daily Grace

Mystery captures the experience of being filled with the fullness of God, knowing the Love which surpasses knowledge, overflowing the soul like a pitcher into which God continues to pour the living water of the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:18–19). The mystery, hidden throughout the ages, is “Christ in you” (Colossians 1:26–27). All things were made by him, through him and for him, including me (Colossians 1:15-20). This filling is what we are made for. When this mystery is revealed within the heart, you know that you are in the love of Christ, and this immeasurable Love is in you.

An excerpt from “Mystery in the Moonlight” by David L. Miller, from the April 2015 issue of Gather magazine.
