We take light for granted – until it’s taken away. One evening, I noticed the street lights were out as I neared home. Upon entering the house, I found myself groping for flashlights and candles. I felt alone and a bit unsettled. I left as quickly as I could.
I need the light that shines throughout the fellowship of believers as much as I need the lights in my home! I need to hear the voices of my sisters and brothers, share in their gifts, and walk with them on the journey. I need to be assured by God that we are protected both in the darkness and in the morning.
