Dreams help us stay in balance, frequently bringing to our attention those things that we overlook or dismiss. They may help us to remember things we have forgotten. They tell us what’s going on inside.
Sometimes the language of dreams seems exotic and unfamiliar. Other times there are strange images, obscure references and nonsensical plots.
Perhaps your dreams speak of personal challenges or address the larger issue of the human challenge. Either way, there may be a message for you in your dream life that is reaching out to your waking life.

This message was adapted from “In Your Dreams” written by Stephen Martz that first appeared in the December 2008 issue of Lutheran Woman Today (now Gather) magazine.
