We are to grow in grace even as we grow toward our welcome to the City of God promised in our baptisms. I count on my baptism, my weekly meal of bread and wine, my daily Bible reading, the words spoken from the pulpit and around the discussion table, and the gentle prodding of my family and friends to guide me in that growth. I count on them to travel with me in Jesus’ name as I sow and reap through the seasons of my life.
