When you take the time to think about your life, what do you focus on? Too often, I tend to dwell on what I don’t have instead of what I have; what went wrong instead of what went right; the negative instead of the positive. But every now and then God gives me a reality check and tells me to stop with the pity party.
So as I gather with family and friends this holiday season, I will be intentional in counting my blessings and giving thanks. We have so much to be grateful for. Not just for the things that we have or for the people in our lives, but also for the grace that God has shown us.
Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, rejoice!
