Relationships are one of God’s most precious gifts to us. From the beginning of creation God has taken the initiative to establish a special relationship of trust with humankind.
However, due to the self-centeredness of our ways, we find ourselves distanced and alienated from God and those to whom we should be close. Our faith in Christ’s death and resurrection reestablishes this relationship of trust with God and the children of God.
This gracious gift of a restored relationship with God enables us to appreciate other relationships, especially with those people whom God has placed into our lives as family.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will continually guide, inspire, and strengthen us to live as a new creation in Jesus Christ.
