“Mary took a pound of costly perfume made of pure nard, anointed Jesus’ feet, and wiped them with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.” (John 12:3)
Mary filled the room with the fragrance of her actions. Her response to Jesus’ presence in her life was everywhere. We can be filled with many different emotions and passions, like love, peace, anger, jealousy, sense of justice, compassion, self-righteousness, and gratitude.
What fills your heart today? How does the content of your heart influence the ways you respond to Jesus’ presence in your life? In what ways do you share the fullness of your heart?
