We are all busy. How do we find time for rest and recharging, so we are better, stronger women?
My favorite, go-to passage is Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
All you tired mommies, all you who are sad, disappointed, angry, or depressed. Not some of you; all of you. This has been a game-changer for me and helped me realize that with the love of God, I can do everything God has planned for me, whatever that might be! And my dear sisters, God will do it for you too.
It takes courage to let go, rest, and recharge. Whatever it takes for you to find your rest in the Lord, I encourage you to try it!
