Cooperation is the principal modus operandi for any congregation that maintains a church building. No one does that alone. Members know that they are not alone in their desire to learn about, love, serve, and worship God. They do so together, cooperating for the sake of the collective good, which benefits individuals and empowers them, in turn, to help others.
Small and rural congregations have the wherewithal and gumption to ready ourselves and the church for guests. We also need to tap into the outlet that is always “on”—our source of light and life and love, Jesus Christ.

Today we remember The Holy Innocents, martyrs.
