Life can be precarious, cold, and unbending as an icicle. We must wrap ourselves in the warm blanket of laughter. We must breathe in the humor of our life situation. Humor is a kind of truth about ourselves and the world and is essential in solving human problems. I used to say that I was a guardian of humor and a caretaker of laughter. I now realize it is the other way around.
