2024 Conference of Presidents
God is calling elected (and appointed) synodical leaders to take their place, ready themselves to rebuild the synodical organizations as we work to re-member and reconnect the three expressions of WELCA, and the community of women as described in our purpose. The theme will bring us to revisit the words of the prophet Isaiah (61:4-10) that give us hope in a God who is faithful. The word remember is found 240 times in the Old and New Testament and throughout “remember” is more than recalling or not forgetting. It is a call to disciples to act. Words from Isaiah to Luke will expand our view of our individual and collective leadership that is sustainable with roots that run wide and deep.
