There's
so much going on at "Come to the Waters!" You may get tired but it will
be what our moms called a "good tired." Good because what you take part
in will lift your spirits, feed your soul, strengthen your leadership,
and enhance community.
If you've been to a
triennial gathering before, you will find that some things have changed
from previous events, starting
with the separation of the Triennial
Convention (July 8–10) from the gathering (July 10–13).
Because our days
together are fewer — we heard your request — we will take part in
servant opportunities in the exhibit hall rather than off site. However,
dynamic speakers and preachers, powerful workshops, uplifting worship,
friendship-building camaraderie, support-giving in-kind gifts, a
gathering choir, optional
tours, and a healthy run/walk/roll continue to be part of this event.
What's new this time is an evening with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, new
resources to use when you get home, and our host city: Salt Lake City,
Utah. And, if you do some promotion, maybe the other thing that is new
will be the number of women and girls attending "Come to the Waters."
Why not bring someone "new" along with you?
Check out the links at the right to get a fuller picture of what's
taking place at the 7th Triennial Gathering, "Come to the Waters."
We'll add "highlights" on Gathering musicians, worship, Bible study, and
more as soon as that information is available so return to this page
frequently.
