The Rev. Marysol Diaz is preaching at the Thankoffering service at Come to the Waters  in 2008.

She has been a pastor serving the Caribbean Synod, ELCA, since 1987. In 1995, she completed a doctorate in ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and wrote her thesis on the topic of inclusion of children in worship. She is currently pastor of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, and an adjunct faculty at the Evangelical Seminary in Puerto Rico teaching courses in pastoral care, ministry with the elderly, and Christian education.
