Kennecott Copper Mine and Great Salt Lake
Kennecott Copper Mine
Begin by visiting "America's Dead Sea," the Great Salt Lake. You'll hear about its origin and the many legends the lake has spawned. Continue on along the base of
the Oquirrh Mountains to Kennecott's Bingham Canyon Copper Mine.

The largest open pit mining operation ever undertaken, the Kennecott Mine is one of
the only two man-made objects visible from space. While there, you'll have time to see the actual workings of the mine.

Price: $45
