Greetings to the gathering
People throughout the church are praying for the Sixth Triennial
Gathering, the women attending, and the ministries of Women of
the ELCA, the women's organization of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America. We will post as many greetings as we are can
throughout the week of the gathering.

The faculty, staff, and students at Lutheran Theological
Southern Seminary, Columbia, South Carolina, send greetings to
all the Lutheran women gathered in San Antonio. The ministries
which you do are vital for God's mission in God's creation. We
uphold you in prayer this week as we worship on our campus in
Christ Chapel. We thank you for your support and help in the
ministries of the ELCA and the entire Body of Christ. We admire
your enthusiasm, wisdom, dedication, and energy. Often you speak
a prophetic word to our Church and to us, and show us where
Christ is calling us to service. We are forming women for
ordained and lay ministries. Thus, we ask for your prayers also
for these sisters as they discern God's Call as it comes through
Christ's Church. May the Spirit pervade all that you are doing
in these days. I am sure that Christ smiles on your gathering!
As you walk the River Walk also remember your baptisms! In
Christ's Peace...

To all those gathered in San Antonio, Koinonia sisters,
God be you and you; worship, pray, learn, share, fellowship and
discern as one in Christ. May you be bold in your actions and
decisions, acting in the Spirit with the gifts of the Spirit as
you heard from Pastor Sue. How I long to be with you, but know
that we are with you in Spirit and via the Internet. Our Women
of the ELCA group met this morning and prayed for you.

Greetings to our Caribe sisters
Greetings to all from your Caribbean Synod sisters representing
Puerto Rico and the American Virgin Islands. We have enjoyed the
diversity and programs in this Triennial Convention at San
Antonio Texas. Thanks for your hospitality.
Thank you for your donations
To my sisters in Christ - Thank you for giving God's gift of
life - blood. As a Red Cross employee in Connecticut, we hear
every day of our nation's shortage of blood. You, my dear
sisters, have helped to ease that shortage. Please know that the
patients who need that blood bless you and your ministry. Thank
you again.
