geographic areas
(synods) in the
United States and
the Caribbean.
Synodical women's
organizations
conventions are held
annually or
biennially for all
women in the synod —
whether a
participant in Women
of the ELCA in a
congregation now or
not yet. See the
calendar for the
date and location of
the convention in
your synod.
Synodical
organizations work
with clusters and
conferences (smaller
geographic areas)
for program
delivery, including
retreats, for
leadership
development, and for
growth and support
of Women of the ELCA
units. Most
synodical
organizations also
provide a
newsletter; some are
available by
subscription.
