Every
year, since
the
beginning of
the
organization
in 1988,
Women of the
ELCA has
given an
annual
gift
to the
Evangelical
Lutheran
Church in
America.
This gift is
an
expression
of the
partnership
of the
women's
organization
in the total
outreach of
the church.
The gift
also bears
witness to
the long
history of
commitment
to mission
that women's
organizations
and our
foremothers
have had for
the sake of
the Gospel.
This gift has
averaged at least
$500,000 per year.
