We're growing our list

Many women in your congregation may not know about this monthly update from Women of the ELCA. To let them know all the good and great news, we need your help. Download and print copies of our e-mail signup sheet and place it on a table in the narthex one Sunday morning. Place an announcement in the Sunday bulletin
or give a verbal invitation to women to sign up to receive updates from Women of the ELCA. Congregations submitting 100 names or more (20 or more for smaller congregations) will receive a free copy (while supplies last) of At the Table: A Collection of Creative Works, a book written by women of the church on the occasion of our 10th anniversary, for their church library.

Our second annual Bold Women's Day is February 24, 2008. Updated promotional
ads in a variety of formats and colors, e-cards, and ideas for celebrating are
available online to help you plan and promote this event. If you've not yet read the stories of bold women on our Web site, now is the time. Let their stories inspire your plans. And, if you have a story of a bold woman of faith in your life or congregation, send it, along with non-returnable photos, to us. We want to share more stories throughout the organization.
